Itumbi reacts after CAS post nullification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Blogger and digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has reacted after the High Court quashed the appointments of 50 CASs made by President William Ruto. Itumbi is among the 50 CASs whose appointment was quashed by the High Court on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He had been appointed to the Ministry of Information and Communication and Digital Economy. In a ruling on Monday, a three-judge bench found that the law was not complied with in the establishment of the said office.<\/p>\n<p>The High Court termed the creation of the 50 CASs unconstitutional. In a statement after the ruling, Itumbi said: &#8220;Come here, go there. Focus, service and connecting dreams to opportunities,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The comment can remind one of his role in government before he was appointed CAS. In January, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua allayed fears that Itumbi was jobless.<\/p>\n<p>Gachagua said even though Itumbi had no designated office, he was a close aide to Ruto. &#8220;Many of you wonder what is the work of Itumbi. His office is known as come here, go there. He is a close friend of our President,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Itumbi has no office, but he is in charge of everything.
