Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>The Maendeleo ya Wanawake chairperson Rahab Muiu has called on President William Ruto to dialogue with other leaders to save the country from collapse.<\/p>\n

Muiu who spoke in Kajiado on Friday evening said Kenya is so good to go down. She said women and children are scared of the political situation in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe reckon that President Ruto won the last election against the former prime minister Raila Odinga, but we are appealing to the President to dialogue with for peace to prevail,\u201d Muiu said.<\/p>\n

Muiu said the political situation is volatile and the President should also have a dialogue with former President Uhuru Kenya for peace to prevail. She also encouraged women to harvest water during the rainy season so they can use the same to plant crops and also in their homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWater harvesting is the way to go. With a 10,000 litre tank, homes can irrigate their crops in gardens and be able to produce sufficient food,\u201d said Mui. She called on President Ruto to provide MYW-K with a budget so they can help women across the country access clean water.<\/p>\n
