Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Six rookies have been included in the Wafalme Stars provisional squad of 21 players named ahead of the highly anticipated African Nations Volleyball Championship.<\/p>\n

The biannual continental showpiece is set to kick off from September 1-14 in Cairo, Egypt. The team is set to kick off training at the Nyayo National Stadium indoor Arena next week. Trailblazer’s middle blocker Eugene Okello highlights the new faces ready to torment the biannual championships.<\/p>\n

Kenya Prisons left attacker Dennis Esokon, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) setter Nick Kimutai and middle blockers trio of GSU’s Joshua Kimaru, Timothy Kipruto of Kenya Prisons and Brian Kamonde of Kenya Ports Authority’s (KPA) are the others.<\/p>\n

The combination of experience and youth promises an exhilarating journey for Wafalme Stars, as they strive to make their mark on the continental stage.<\/p>\n
