Africa-Press – Lesotho. Kaizer Chiefs‘ search for a new striker is quite thorough. Amakhosi have now reportedly found target number four.
In addition to three other center forwards that have been linked with the Glamour Boys, Lesotho’s 23-year-old international Katleho Makateng could soon make a move to Naturena.
According to Tiyani Mabasa’s Unplayable, the Soweto giants have spotted Makateng after his appearances in the 2022 COSAFA Cup in Durban this month.

“Lesotho international striker Katleho Makateng is the latest striker to be linked with Kaizer Chiefs,” the report said.
“The 23-year-old plays for Lesotho Defence Force,” the note added. Makateng’s statistics for Defence Force are unavailable. He nevertheless scored two goals and won two back-to-back Man of the Match displays against Malawi and Mauritius last week in Durban.
As The South African website previously reported, Arthur Zwane is currently assessing three other number nines after the exits of Samir Nurkovic and Leonardo Castro.
Former TS Galaxy striker Wayde Lekay, Burundi’s Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and the former Stellenbosch FC striker Fuad Johnson are all training with Amakhosi.
