Africa-Press – Lesotho. Even though it’s too soon to anticipate summer cropping yield, the drought that was experienced in November and December last year has affected most crops.
This was said by one of the block farmers who is also Basotho Agricultural Machinery Association Central Region Chairperson, Mr. Motlohi Sekoala in an interview with the Agency.
Mr. Sekoala said herbicides did not serve their purpose effectively due to drought as they work effectively on moist soil thus some crops were affected by weeds
