Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lesotho has joined the rest of the world for the commemoration of the World Intellectual Property Day in an event held in Maseru on Tuesday.
This year’s event is celebrated under the theme ‘ IP and music, feel the beat’.
While opening this event Mr. Kopano Ts’enoli on behalf of the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communication, Science, Technology and Innovation said Lesotho joins the rest of the world in celebrating the power, creativity, and the systems that protect, reward and encourage Intellectual Property.
He indicated that music reflects who Basotho are, where they come from and what they aspire to be saying it is through the effective use of intellectual property rights that musicians and creators can turn their passion into reality.
