Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) also lead prosecutor in a case in which four police offichers are charged with the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng, Advocate Hlalefang Motinyane says the accused have a case to answer.
This she said during arguments on an application for discharge which has been filed by three of the accused Superintendant Thabo Tsukulu, Senior Inspector Mabitle Matona and Sub-Inspector Haleokoe Taasoane as Inspector Mothibeli Mofolo has not applied for the discharge.
Adv. Motinyane stated that the application is opposed adding that it should be dismissed. She indicated that the prosecution has proved a prima facie case against the accused therefore they should present their defence and answer to the case against them.
