Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) has announced that renowned Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) and FIFA Coach Educator, Mr. Serame Letsoaka will conduct the LeFA CAF Diploma Coaching Course, which will begin on Tuesday, November 18th at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena.
Mr. Mikia Kalati, Media and Communications Manager of LeFA, mentioned that Mr. Letsoaka will be assisted by a local CAF trained coach educator, Mr. Naleli Tšilo, who is also a CAF diploma graduate.
Mr. Kalati added that the second largest coaching badge on the continent has attracted 24 coaches from Lesotho and beyond, with the course starting at LeFA headquarters on Tuesday. The official opening is scheduled for Thursday, November 20th.
He concluded by saying that the course has drawn some high profile coaches in the region, such as Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhalele, multiple league winning coach in the country Mosholu ‘Shoes’ Mokhothu and Lesotho Girls U20 coach Tjamela Tjamela, who led Lishoeshoe to the COSAFA Girls U17 Championship final in 2023.
