Sr. Sehlare said in the district challenges facing the girls are teenage pregnancy, child marriage, gender-based violence to mention a few adding that the team is working tirelessly to ensure that girls are protected against these challenges for health education.

She said the theme for this year is “The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the Frontline of crisis”.

Those who attended the celebration thanked DCPT for organizing an event to bring the girls together to share and discuss health related issues for their protection.

DCPT engaged members of the Lesotho Defence Force who interacted with the girls in health talks and lots of educational games that made the fun and informative.
