Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Algerian team managed to secure a difficult and valuable victory against their Jordanian counterparts with a score of two goals to one on Tuesday in the second round of matches in Group 10 of the 2026 World Cup.
The match took place in San Francisco, where the Jordanian team opened the scoring through their player Nizar Rashdan in the 36th minute.
In the 69th minute, Nadhir Ben Bouali scored the equalizer for the Algerian team, followed by a decisive moment for the Desert Warriors when Amin Guiri scored the second goal for Algeria in the 82nd minute.
With this victory, the Algerian team achieved their first win in the tournament, raising their points to three, placing them third behind the Austrian team on goal difference.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian team exited the competition after suffering their second consecutive loss.
