Africa-Press – Lesotho. Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) held the awards ceremony to honour 2019/20 Econet Premier League (EPL) winners, whose celebration was hindered by the advent of Covid-19 in March 2020.

The event took place at Lesotho Football Association headquarters on Wednesday. The 2019/20 EPL awards was divergent from the previous awards due to the ongoing pandemic of covid-19 that forced Premier League Management

committee to allow only the participants to attend the awarding feast. During the previous awards, fans from different teams were welcome to chant their

football stars as they take their trophies home. Bantu midfielder Litšepe Marabe was the biggest winner, taking home M26, 500 in prize money and trophies.

glad to discover that my leadership abilities and skills can lead to the best technical team of the season,” Mafoso said. He further stated that the best coach is not determined by

the winning statistics but by the ability to combine different players with different styles and character to have the similar version that will motivate

players to bring better results. Lioli defender and young player of the season award holder Tieho Ntulo told Informative Sport that beingcrowned the best young player of the season was a huge experience

for him. Ntulo stated that determination and hard work has awarded him with this wonderful crown. ‘’There are a lot of good young players locally but I think what sets me apart is determination. Learning from the mistakes that I made on the pitch influence me to always be at my best,” added Ntulo.
