Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Maseru International Police Association (IPA) has set up a fundraiser to help needy school children, either through school fees or exam registration fees.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Voice of the Nation on Friday, IPA Chairperson Inspector Molikeng Setleli explained that the purpose of the March 25, 2022 celebration was part of a fundraising initiative to help needy school children with payments.<\/p>\n

He went on to say that the work was long-term, adding that they started by raising money to wash the staff cars’ cars at a lower cost than the car wash business. He said they help all school children either by being approached individually or by organizations that help children in need.<\/p>\n

He asserted that for students who wrote the final exams, the children would not be able to write the exams due to financial constraints either because they did not have parents, the parents were unemployed or they lost a lot of jobs during the Corona epidemic.<\/p>\n
