Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>An award winning actor Lebohang Nyakallo Ntsane who played a role in the award winning film The Forgotten Kingdom during his childhood now backs a new role in the Showmax film Molamu which aired in 2021.<\/p>\n

Ntsane has shared with Arts&Lifestye how he acquired the role that changed his life. \u201cI was contacted by the Director of Molamu Monyane Tekateka who expressed interest in working with me in his next project.<\/p>\n

When I got the role I was really excited because at that time, I was not doing much with my life except having school. I got the role after finishing my examinations<\/p>\n

at the National University of Lesotho (NUL), this came at an opportune time when I just finished my exams, I was ready to take it and I did. \u201cI was really excited that finally something as remarkable as that is happening in<\/p>\n

my life and that some people out there actually see my work. This was an opportunity that knocked on my door at the right time when I just finished my<\/p>\n

degree. The exciting part about all these is that I did not even go for an interview I was head-hunted,\u201d he noted. He recalled the first time he was on the screen; he described it as a beautiful<\/p>\n

and yet a shocking experience. \u201cI usually had a mentality that people who appear on television are mostly important. I felt like I belonged to a different world, the thought that someday I would take part in the world of<\/p>\n

television was never in my plans but it turned out to be an honour. In my acting career I just want to tell stories that people resonates with. I want people to<\/p>\n

see themselves in characters that I play, I also want to be unique and creative, not play one person in every film role that I acquire,\u201d Ntsane indicated.<\/p>\n

He said Lesotho\u2019s movie industry is still recurring and petite, saying the population also applies to the difference in the movie industry explaining that<\/p>\n

Lesotho\u2019s population is fewer. He pointed that the music and the movie industry in the country is not fully supported. Ntsane mentioned that although they have<\/p>\n

such a huge difference, he loves working in both countries. \u201cI encourage everyone who has taken a leap into the music industry to go to school because their talent can only get them to a specific point. But education can last for a life time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
