Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Through its three-year project that commenced in 2020, Lesotho Football Association (LeFA), have finalized the distribution of new equipment to 81 teams nation-wide, by<\/p>\n

the help of Lesotho Women\u2019s Football Committee. These are the teams that have played in the league under the District Football Associations (DIFAs). LeFA had<\/p>\n

committed to assist women teams that were active during the commencement of the project in 2020. This was the first sponsorship by LeFA to the women\u2019s football<\/p>\n

and the initiative ends in 2023. Each team received a package which include three-piece jersey, bibs and three balls. Among the beneficiaries last Friday were Maseru DIFA teams; Maseru Super Stars Ladies, Mapetla High<\/p>\n

School Ladies, Kick4Life Ladies and Machache Ladies. The remaining packages were delivered to their respective districts during the weekend. In an interview with Informative Sport, Lesotho Women\u2019s Football Committee Vice<\/p>\n

President Thabaneng Lekhooa revealed that they will only carry on investing the teams that had registered during the three-years activeness of the project.<\/p>\n

He added that Qacha\u2019s Nek was the only district excluded. The teams also received 16 balls, trophy, gold and silver medals. Lekhooa indicated that the prices were also received by the teams which were not registered<\/p>\n

under the project, LDF Ladies Development and Massive Ladies for instance. \u201cWomen football have amplified, at the time the project started, we had 81 teams and now they are 318 nation-wide.<\/p>\n

This shows there is a big impact the equipment had brought,\u201d he stated. Expressing his heart-felt gratitude for the offer, Mapetla High School Ladies Coach Nthebe<\/p>\n

T\u0161iane illustrated that the equipment is a great benefit to them since the money they were to spent purchasing football attire will now be used for other commodities.<\/p>\n
