Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Sam Rapapa has been suspended as chairman of the All Basotho Confusion (ABC) party. His crime is to refuse to withdraw from the government as ordered by the party\u2019s National Embarrassment Committee (NEC).<\/p>\n

The Father of Papa is being punished for clinging on to a government formed by his own party. The absurdity of it all is lost to the committee. Having failed to topple Mr Softie, they are purging the party of perceived enemies and rebels.<\/p>\n

Lashing out at people who dared to exercise their freedom of choice and association. Muckraker is not surprised by the turn of events. When the maths doesn\u2019t work you start spanking everyone you think is sabotaging your mission.<\/p>\n

The reality, though, is that Mr Softie will remain in power even if the committee suspends every MP in his camp. The committee can even suspend itself but Mr Softie will remain Mohlomphei.<\/p>\n

The committee is thus on a fool\u2019s errant. They are chasing rats while the house burns. Cutting their noses to spite their faces. The solution is in getting the maths right.<\/p>\n

If the numbers are not working then give up and lick your wounds in silence. You lost because you did not have a winning strategy. Live with it while regaining your energy to fight another day.<\/p>\n
