Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Catholic Religious Sisters with their different Congregations held a 1 month workshop for the whole month of July 2020, at Emmanuel Hostel Provincial House, Maseru under SLDI (Sisters Leadership Development Initiative programme), established by ASEC (African Sisters Education Collaborative). This was a continuation of what commenced last year with the course of Basic Technology that saw the sisters complete 1 month learning how technology can be useful for their congregations. This year, 25 sisters migrated to the 2nd year and engaged in one of the two tracks being Administration (9 sisters) and
\nFinance (16 sisters). The three-year programme is delivered to selected Sisters from different congregations based in Africa ten countries namely, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Nigeria, South Sudan,
\nTanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. For Lesotho, the 2 trainings were delivered by BAM Group Foundation as the philanthropic arm of BAM Group, through BAM Consultancy which was represented by Mrs.<\/p>\n

Hilton) was established in 1999 by leaders of four congregations of women religious in Pennsylvania, United States of America, and the presidents of the colleges and universities founded by their congregations as an initiative to facilitate educational opportunities for Catholic Sisters in Africa. Mr Hilton became was aware that Religious Sisters perform a lot of work in the society but due to civilization and social changes they fall behind.
\nAs a consequence, he made a decision to donate funds which yearly assist African Religious Sisters with capacity to tackle new challenges with suitable latest skills.<\/p>\n
