\nStandard Bank Pilots Core Banking Solution on Cloud Given the benefits of agility, flexibility, and scalability at low infrastructure and computing costs, the question today is not \u201cwhy\u201d but \u201cwhen\u201d and \u201chow\u201d a bank should adopt the cloud.<\/p>\n

Standard Lesotho Bank ran a technical proof of concept to implement the Finacle Core Banking Solution on AWS Cloud. The initiative was first for Standard Bank Group and Standard Lesotho Bank and paved way for the Bank to plan to move the solution to public cloud as SaaS.
\nThe initiative was also groundbreaking for the Standard Bank partners including Infosys and as some of the business requirements that had to be delivered to via Finacle on cloud were unique to the bank and its corporate strategy.<\/p>\n

The bank was recognized at Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2021 for this initiative. In this video, Anton Nicolaisen, Chief Executive at Standard Lesotho Bank talks about the drivers for exploring Finacle solution on Cloud, the success seen with the pilot and the way forward for the bank.<\/p>\n
