Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Vodacom Lesotho today announced its continuing partnership with one of Lesotho\u2019s biggest annual events, \u2018Maletsunyane Festival, set to take place from Friday, 29 November to Sunday, 1 December, 2019.<\/p>\n

\u2019Manchafatso Mots\u2019oeneng from the Lesotho Tourism Development\u2019s Public Relations Office says as drivers of Tourism in Lesotho they are grateful to The \u2018Maletsunyane Braai Festival Organising Committee for impacting the Semonkong Community, adding that together they have worked to make it possible for locals to provide standard accommodation for visitors.<\/p>\n

She says they are working hard to make the Semonkong community realise maximum benefit from the business opportunities (pony- tracking, village tours and crafts) around and beyond the event duration.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the festival team, Mariti Mariti, says over the years and last year in particular they were able to provide over 200 job opportunities during the event.<\/p>\n

This year people can expect activities like helicopter rides, quad biking and hiking for a certain fee. On behalf of Vodacom, M-pesa Manager Malatola Phothoane says M-pesa as a currency of choice will bring an added security benefit to businesses and consumers .<\/p>\n
