Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The huge football fan, \u2018Mamoji Letsapo has acquired a top position in football as the newly elected Bantu Vice President. She defeated the stigma of underrepresentation of women leaders within the sports industry. In a talk with Informative Sports, Letsapo said she has always had love for sports from a very young age but her love grew when she met her husband who is a loyal supporter of Bantu. Letsapo was caught by surprise when she was elected as the team\u2019s Vice President because she thought no one recognized her dedication to the team.
\nShe said she has always intervened when Bantu was going through financial crises and \u201cmaybe\u201d people voted for her because she was the only female supporter present when Bantu was competing in Democratic Republic Congo (DRC). Bantu made history when they became the first Lesotho club since 2002 to progress past the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary stage, with a dramatic penalty shootout win over Botswana champions, Township Rollers at Setsoto Stadium.
\nThis resulted to Bantu going to DRC to face AS Vita Club on in the CAF Champions League preliminary stage, however they only managed to get one goal.
\nLetsapo said to her it meant a lot, because the playing environment between those two teams was very intense. Letsapo made it clear that Bantu is next to her heart and it will be like that forever.<\/p>\n

She said she was uncontested so she has to fulfil people\u2019s expectation and work very hard to maintain the team. She added that she already knows what she is going to change in the team, she further insisted that she will work hand in hand with the rest of the committee to see that Bantu progresses and becomes the best team in Lesotho.<\/p>\n
