The marathon in celebration of Lesotho\u2019s independence is scheduled for October 5 and will run from Maseru Club which is both the starting and the finishing point.<br \/>\nThe Maseru City Urban Road Challenge is the annual road race held in the capital city Lesotho yearly to celebrate Lesotho\u2019s independence observed on October 04.<br \/>\nFNB Marketing Manager Lebohang Setlalekgosi, the bank decided to sponsor the marathon to show support for the sport which she explained \u2018is not being given a fair chance\u2019.<br \/>\nBotha Tiheli, the Business Development Manager at Mamoth indicated that Mamoth is a medical aid company that that supports good health. \u201cThis marathon is very relevant to what we do. So we decided to take part,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nSejanamane Maphathe, representative from LAAA said mentioned that they are excited that the city of Maseru finally has an annual marathon of its own like other big cities in the world.
