Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>A rising artist, Victor is touching the top with his highly anticipated debut Extended Play (EP) titled \u201cFreedom\u201d, which will drop at the end of July this year.
\nBorn Tsepiso Victor Percy Rapitse (26), the star revealed to Arts&Lifestyle that his four-track EP is an introduction of who he is as a recording artist and reflects on some of the things that he is most passionate about, which are Love, self-awareness and patriotism. He said the four songs carry his true identity. The EP is a fusion of different genres from Pop, Afro soul, Reggae, Dance hall.
\nVictor put so much time and effort into the EP in effort to bring a new flavour into the local music industry. He enthusiastically mentioned to this reporter that he \u201chopes that people can appreciate and relate to the content in this EP because it took about several years to come together\u201d. When giving a sneak pick about the much awaited EP,<\/p>\n

victor said all the songs are based on real life experiences which took him some time to overcome but eventually he took a pen and paper and poured his<\/p>\n

heart out. He says some of the lyrical content was inspired by all the things that are happening around the world. The Singer and Songwriter from Teyateyaneng says he is very passionate about empowerment and advocacy, saying the audience will get a tip of it in his music.
\n\\He started singing at a very young age at church and started music professionally about six years ago, he believes that in the six years he has gained a lot of experience in the industry. Victor has been a performing artist on a number of phenomenal platforms such as the Artillect in college. He has also performed with great bands at events like Lesotho Tourism Festival (LETOFE). Some of the music titles include Hae, Freedom and Right here,<\/p>\n
