Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Countries across the world had hardly started to pick up the pieces and recover from the Covid-19 devastating effects on their economies when the insane shenanigans of US-led NATO, backed by spineless EU leadership, pushed Russia into a merciless assault on Ukraine.
\nThis has sent all countries reeling and scrambling to hunt for the best deals to prop up their economies and alleviate the impacts caused by energy, cereal and cooking oil crises. Germany summoned US envoy over Merkel phone spy claims. Pic \u2013 South China Morning Post<\/p>\n

As things stand, all countries are surfing on waves of public discontent and the governments of even prosperous countries are already recommending their citizens to brace up for more sacrifices.<\/p>\n

Private firms and citizens are advised to cut down central heating in the coming winter months. As from March 2022, folks living on one meal a day, and elderly people spending hours in pubs or public transport to keep warm have become commonplace.<\/p>\n

Not to mention the unfortunate ones who can no longer afford to pay back monthly housing loans to banks and are forced to sell their properties. The governments of these countries will also have to brace up for a likely harsh winter of discontent in the coming winter.<\/p>\n

This crisis could have been averted with a different political leadership in the US and the EU. If their citizens are not fully brainwashed by western media to believe in the democracy versus dictatorship rhetoric, they can only pin the blame for all the hardships on the foolish and reckless stance taken by their leaders.
\nHow will inflation and recession in two robust economies like China and the US impact the world in a near future and how long the price of gas, oil and cereals will depend on the Russian President Putin\u2019s moves are two swords of Damocles hanging on all of us.<\/p>\n
