Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>In preparation for the 2022 general elections, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) conducted the nomination of candidates to contest the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n

The nomination was held on Friday in all 80 constituencies country-wide where supporters of different political parties dressed in their political regalia came to witness the event.<\/p>\n

A total of 65 political parties will contest in the 2022 general elections. Lesotho will hold General Elections to elect Members of the National Assembly (11th Parliament) on the 7th October 2022.<\/p>\n
