Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Basotho have been invited to join the public hearing on regional interests and concerns by the Southern African Development Community Parliament Forum to be held virtually from 25 to 28 November 2022.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane at the press conference held at the Lesotho Parliament Boardroom on Thursday. Mr. Sekhamane said the intention of the forum is to give the general public an opportunity to present all their concerns.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the forum will focus on key issues that include; gender equality, women\u2019s advancement, youth empowerment, human and social development, democratic governance, human right, food and agriculture, natural resources, trade, industry, finance, and investment committee as well as regional parliament model laws. He, therefore, appealed to every Mosotho who has access to the Internet to take part in the forum, saying the forum is a good course for the country.<\/p>\n
