Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The national Covid-19 secretariat (NACOSEC) has issued a statement appealing to the nation to give out the information about all Basotho who entered the country from December 18, 2021 using the Maputsoe Bridge without testing and vaccinating for Covid-19.<\/p>\n

A video of Basotho stampeding through the Maputsoe border post without testing for Covid-19 or producing vaccination certificates went viral on social media last week.<\/p>\n

NACOSEC said these people who entered the country without vaccinating or testing do not know their Covid-19 status which puts them, their families and all their contacts at risk of being infected by the virus.<\/p>\n

Anyone with the relevant information should contact NACOSEC, the nearest police station, community health nurses, the ministry of health and chiefs or call 112.<\/p>\n
