Africa-Press<\/a> – Lesotho<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Redskins Volleyball Club coach T\u0161epo Raletooane has earned himself a F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Level III Coaching Certificate after completing a one week long Train of Trainers International Coaches Course.<\/p>\n

The course was facilitated in Egypt Cairo from September 7 to 14. Therefore, Raletooane is now FIVB Instructor which is the top most level of coaching in volleyball. This makes Raletooane the only Mosotho in the volleyball fraternity to hold the qualification.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with Informative Sport, Raletooane mentioned that after completing this level he is now qualified to train other volleyball coaches anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

Raletooane first did Level 1 Coaching Course in 1995 prior to completing Level 11 in 2011. These two courses were both held in Lesotho. \u201cThe plan is to work hand in hand with Lesotho Volleyball Association to improve the coaching level of volleyball in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have already informed the association and made them aware that it is only through their assistance that I will be able to pass all the skills acquired to other local coaches,\u201d mentioned Raletooane.<\/p>\n

Raletooane said he applied for this course because he wanted to enhance his coaching skills of which he believes will benefit Lesotho volleyball at large and his club- Redskins.<\/p>\n

He expressed that he will work in collaboration with local coaches with the aim of improving the standard of volleyball such that they are able to produce future stars.<\/p>\n

Raletooane further indicated that he has been mandated by FIVB to have coaching workshops and courses locally and regionally. \u201cAfter that report, FIVB will then decide whether I am ready to be offered a chance to instruct at international workshops or courses,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

To other local coaches he said all they have to do is work hard in order to achieve more in their career. \u201cIt is not all about certificates, but hard work and perseverance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Under Raletooane leadership, Redskins has been dominating Lesotho Volleyball domestic league for some years and are currently the defending champions.<\/p>\n

Lesotho Volleyball Association (LVA) Public Relations Officer (PRO) Buller Phalatse hailed Raletooane for the step he took as he mentioned that the association endorsed Raletooane\u2019s attendance to the course.<\/p>\n

Phalatse declared that they are ready to use Raletooane\u2019s skills to improve and grow local volleyball. He said his achievement indicates that Lesotho is taking a step forward but it is embarrassing that Raletooane had to finance his trip to Cairo due to the current financial challenges facing Lesotho sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
