He will have to explain why he accused Cheeseman of killing Joki when the police already had their suspects. He will have to tell the court why he alleged that Cheeseman was smooching a spy when he was also doing mjolo with two spies (Cheeseman said it).<\/p>\n

We should hear his definition of the money laundering he alleged. But whatever evidence he will give in that court case will be a bonus for comic relief.<\/p>\n

We already know that his ill-fated attempt to confiscate Cheesyman\u2019s phones resulted in a judgement that pulled the NSS teeth. Thanks to his crude exuberance, Section 26(2) of the National Security Services Act has been declared unconstitutional.<\/p>\n

The section allows a minister in charge of state security to issue a warrant authorising the National Security Service (NSS) to seize private property that \u201cis likely to be of substantial value in assisting the Service to discharge any of its functions\u201d and \u201ccannot reasonably be obtained by any other means\u201d.<\/p>\n

This means the NSS will no longer rely on that section to acquire warrants to seize property as it tried to do with Mofomobe\u2019s phones. The pursuit of one man has left the NSS castrated.<\/p>\n

Henceforth, it will have to beg for people to willingly surrender their phones for an investigation. The stubborn ones can tell the NSS to go hang. The NSS will have to stick to gathering common gossip and pretend that it\u2019s a national security intelligence. Muckraker hopes the High Court will have a tank of Oros when Mr Oros testifies in the lawsuit.<\/p>\n
