Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>His Majesty King Letsie III commissioned Mr. Ntsime Jafeta as Lesotho High Commissioner to South Africa at a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Maseru on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In his commissioning speech, His Majesty congratulated Mr. Jafeta on his new assignment, expressing hope that he will represent the Government of Lesotho and Basotho with dignity and humility in South Africa.<\/p>\n

He wished him well, saying Lesotho is committed to promoting the existing relations with countries of the world. In his acceptance speech, Mr. Jafeta promised to deliver his duties to the best of his abilities in order to cement the relationships that exist between Lesotho and South Africa.<\/p>\n

Mr. Jafeta said he will remain aware of Lesotho\u2019s aspirations, therefore expressed his appreciation to His Majesty, the government and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations for rendering him support.<\/p>\n

Present at this ceremony included the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane and senior officers in the ministry and Mr. Jafeta\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
