Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Lesotho Government has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the Republic of Namibia upon the passing on of President Hage Geingob on February 4th, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane conveyed his condolences on behalf of the government and Basotho to Mrs. Geingob, family, the government and the people of Namibia.<\/p>\n

He described President Geingob\u2019s passing on as a significant loss not only for Namibia but for the entire African continent, leaving a void in the hearts of many across Africa.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister added that the late President Geingob was held in high esteem by the government and the people of Lesotho, recognised as an outstanding African leader who played a vital role in advancing Africa\u2019s agenda globally.<\/p>\n

The passing of President Hage Geingob is mourned not only in Namibia but also across the African continent, where his legacy as a dedicated leader and advocate for progress and unity will be remembered and honoured.<\/p>\n
