Presenting the Bible on behalf of the association and on behalf of the nation, Mr.<\/p>\n<p>Setefane Cheba said the intention of the Bible is to light the Royal Family and the entire nation at this tremendous time when the country is commemorating 200 years since the formation of this nation by the founder King Moshoeshoe I.<\/p>\n<p>The climax of the event was different prayer services by Reverends, Priests and Pastors from different churches in the country. The prayers ranged from praying for the Royal Family, praying for peace and stability, employment as well as praying for Lesotho leadership in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p>In her prayer after the reading taken from Nehemiah 6: 1 \u2013 3, Reverend Beatrice Motokoa strongly called God to restore and heal Basotho so that the country can experience eternal peace and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet us all join forces in regaining the image of Lesotho without allowing distractors to mess up the process,\u201d she stressed. On behalf of traditional Leaders, Mr.<\/p>\n<p>Malefetsane Liau stated that the need to preserve culture is key if Lesotho is to prosper in all ways, thereby urging growing children to fall in love with their culture and all to go for initiation school.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at this occasion included the Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane, President of the Senate, Mrs. Mamonaheng Mokitimi, Chief Justice Sakoane Peter Sakoane, National Assembly Speaker, Mr.<\/p>\n<p>Tlohang Sekhamane, Cabinet Ministers as well as the nation from different walks of life were all there to pray and stand in solidarity for the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The Agency established that the 200 years logo was launched during the country\u2019s independence last year and was followed by prayer at the Royal Palace in Maseru prior to Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>It is anticipated that a series of events in line with the 200 years theme \u201cRebirth, Reflection and Revival\u201d, will continue in commemoration of the bicentenary.
