Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Principal Secretary (PS) of the Ministry of Energy said it is important for mines to ensure the improvement of communities around them.<\/p>\n

Ms. Relebohile Mpeta said this during the panel discussion held during the launch of the two day Mining Indaba Khotla Lesotho event, which is held in Maseru from Thursday.<\/p>\n

During these discussions, Ms. Mpeta indicated that it is important for the mines to recognise the communities around them and ensure that such communities are catered for in terms of development projects such as roads, electricity and other life long projects<\/p>\n
