T\u0161epang Teba, a 27-year-old model from Teyateyaneng is getting noticed for doing something in his best way. The medical laboratory scientist wants to dominate the entertainment industry, and not just as a model but also as a prominent presenter in the country.<\/p>\n

T\u0161epang studied Medical Laboratory Sciences at the National Health Training College but doubles also as a model and a presenter on TV and for corporate events.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy career started in 2018 as a promotional model where I shot a campaign with Econet Telecom Lesotho through Koko Lesotho agency.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was featured on billboards and on digital platforms; I featured in a promotional shoot for Kemet Designs and Creative\u2019s promoting their winter collection,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

In 2019 T\u0161epang shot another promotional shoot for Kemet Designs and Creative\u2019s for their Autumn\/Winter collection and featured in a promotional shoot for Estelle Sparkling Lemonade. He walked in the Fairways Plaza End-of-season Fashion Show where he was a runway model for Markhams, Total Sports, Sportscene, Exact and City Fabrix.<\/p>\n

In December, he represented Lesotho in the King of Globe International 2020 which was hosted in Bangkok, Thailand, where he won first place and came with the title of King of Globe International 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2020 I was one of the winners in the Lesotho Fashion Week Presenter Search and I was their backstage presenter at Lesotho Fashion Week 2020 held at the Advocate Suites in Maseru.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the same time, I started shooting Season I as a presenter of a TV show named Front Row Lesotho, which is yet to be broadcast,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

In 2021 T\u0161epang was a Red-Carpet presenter at the Face of Lesotho 2021 Pageant and launched the Front Row Lesotho TV show sponsored by Pere DSTV at the Pioneer Mall in Maseru.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the launch was to sensitise the media about the show\u2019s existence while waiting to publish it. While he was a backstage presenter at the Miss Lesotho 2021 Pageant, he also took up an MC appearance at the Miss EcoTourism Lesotho 2021.<\/p>\n

He cast as the programme director during the launch of the Lesotho Fashion Week\u2019s TV show named Fashion Corner and also featured in a photo shoot for Joachim Garments as a model.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have an undying dream to grow big in the entertainment industry, not just to be a model but to also expand my already active career as a presenter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to build my brand so that I can be one of most prominent presenters and models in the country as, of course, eventually I intend to take on the international.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter I have gathered enough experience, I want to have an establishment where I can nurture and grow young people who want to break into the industry,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

T\u0161epang acknowledges that it is very hard to balance both his careers, indicating that the two are both demanding and \u201cthere are moments where the two clash\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy laboratory career usually places me out of Maseru while my modelling career usually demands me to be in Maseru, which means I miss out on most modelling gigs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always have to prioritise my laboratory career because it is the main source of income then I do modelling in my spare time; overall it is very hard to balance the two,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
