Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>With the sponsorship of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the Kingdom of Lesotho co-hosted alongside Cameroon, Ghana, the Gambia, South Africa and Uganda, a Side Event on the margins of the Commission for Population Development at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Monday.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, the Permanent Representative of Lesotho to the United Nations, Mr.Matete \u2018Nena, focused his presentation on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and need for family planning (FP) saying that these two pillars form part of the Addis Ababa Declaration for Population and Development and ICPD Journey since 1994<\/p>\n
