Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Maseru, Jul, 27 \u2013 Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association (LPPA) held their annual AGM to discuss sexual and reproductive issues.<\/p>\n

The chairperson of social cluster Mr.Mokhothu Makhalanyane said, as the activist of women rights, talking about Gender Based Violence (GBV) is important.<\/p>\n

He stipulated that 36.6% of women have been victims of GBV.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Lesotho, 86% of women have experienced GBV. That is why Lesotho is in the struggle of GBV.<\/p>\n

Mr. Makhalanyane specified that women and girls are mostly the victims of GBV.<\/p>\n
