Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>In an attack, Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona and Spain star winger Lamine Yamal, was stabbed “multiple times,” local media reported Thursday.<\/p>\n

The stabbing took place on Wednesday evening in a parking lot in the town of Mataro, some 32 kilometers (20 miles) east of the Barcelona city center, according to Spanish daily La Vanguardia.<\/p>\n

Nasraoui, 36, was taken to the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona, around 9 km (6 mi) from Barcelona, and is in serious condition but his life is reportedly not in danger.<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old Yamal was part of the EURO 2024 squad that won the title in Berlin last month.<\/p>\n

He also became the youngest male footballer to ever play in a major tournament final, breaking the previous record held by Brazilian legend Pele.<\/p>\n
