Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>One year after introducing its AI-driven Security Copilot to enhance cybersecurity with a chatbot, Microsoft is expanding the tool with AI agents to provide autonomous support to security teams under pressure.<\/p>\n

The company is rolling out six AI agents for the Security Copilot, alongside five developed by its partners.<\/p>\n

Microsoft will preview its six security agents next month, which are designed to handle tasks such as triaging and processing phishing and data loss alerts, prioritizing critical incidents and monitoring vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n

Vasu Jakkal, corporate vice president of Microsoft Security, wrote Monday on the company’s official website: “The six Microsoft Security Copilot agents enable teams to autonomously handle high-volume security and IT tasks while seamlessly integrating with Microsoft Security solutions.”<\/p>\n

Microsoft is collaborating with OneTrust, Aviatrix, BlueVoyant, Tanium and Fletch to integrate third-party security agents. The additions will simplify tasks like analyzing data breaches using OneTrust and conducting root cause analysis of network failures with Aviatrix.<\/p>\n

AI agents are gaining traction as a key way for companies like Microsoft to promote AI tools to businesses. Earlier this year, Microsoft reintroduced its Copilot for businesses, offering free AI chat and access to pay-as-you-go AI agents.<\/p>\n

Microsoft will also announce more security updates for different industries at its Microsoft Secure event on April 9.<\/p>\n
