Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Finance Committee on Friday in Antananarivo, Republic of Madagascar, as part of a series of meetings leading to the SADC Council of Ministers Meeting and the 45th SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government.<\/p>\n

The meeting\u2019s primary objective is to receive reports from the Finance Sub-Committee and the Audit Committee.<\/p>\n

Delegates reviewed, scrutinised, and deliberated on a range of financial and governance matters, formulating recommendations for submission to the Council of Ministers, which will meet from August 12 to 14.<\/p>\n

The Council of Ministers is responsible for overseeing the functioning and development of SADC and ensuring the effective implementation of its policies.<\/p>\n

The Council will subsequently present its report to the Heads of State and Government during their Summit on August 17.<\/p>\n
