\u201cBack at Leicester, N\u2019Golo played as a right-sided midfielder, and I was also on the right,\u201d Mahrez said. \u201cI\u2019ll be honest\u2014I cheated a little and didn\u2019t defend. He was so shy that he never said anything. But one day, he snapped and said, \u2018Hey, Riyad, please, start defending.\u2019 It shocked me\u2014it was funny, and from that day, I started defending.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair went on to win the 2015\/16 Premier League title together, forming a key part of one of football\u2019s greatest underdog stories.<\/p>\n
