Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Principal Chief Mojela Makotoko Theko Makhaola has publicly apologized for appointing former Town Chief Nkuebe Makhaola.<\/p>\n

Chief Makhaola told the villagers at Melele Ground that if they had grown fond of Nkuebe, they loved his mistake.<\/p>\n

The statement came during a tense community meeting sparked by Nkuebe\u2019s dismissal earlier this year. His removal led to a petition to the District Administrator, with residents and area chiefs demanding his reinstatement. Many praised Nkuebe for his warmth and commitment to service delivery.<\/p>\n

The meeting began late and was marked by disorder. Attendees disagreed on how it should proceed. Some wanted the dismissal letter read aloud, others demanded answers, and some even suggested electing a new chief. Principal Chief Makhaola, however, was firm.<\/p>\n
