Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Bryan Mbeumo wrote his name into Manchester United folklore on Saturday, scoring his first Premier League goal for the club in a dramatic 3-2 win over Burnley at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Cameroonian forward struck in the 64th minute to restore United\u2019s lead just moments after Burnley had levelled the game at 1-1. The goal came in classic counter-attacking fashion \u2014 goalkeeper Altay Bayindir launched a long ball forward, Joshua Zirkzee rose highest to flick it on, and Diogo Dalot raced to the byline before cutting it back across goal.<\/p>\n

Waiting unmarked inside the six-yard box, Mbeumo made no mistake, smashing home to put Amorim\u2019s side 2-1 up and sending the United supporters into raptures.<\/p>\n

The game had begun with United taking the lead early, but Burnley fought back to equalise, forcing the Red Devils into a response. Mbeumo\u2019s strike swung the momentum back in United\u2019s favour, and despite another tense passage of play, they held their nerve to secure their first full points of the new campaign with a 3-2 victory.<\/p>\n
