Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Premier League side Fulham have completed the signing of Nigeria international, Samuel Chukwueze<\/b>, on loan from AC Milan for the 2025\/26 season, with an option to make the move permanent.<\/p>\n

The London club confirmed the deal in a statement on Monday, revealing that the winger will wear the number 19 shirt<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan. He joins on loan for the duration of the 2025\/26 season, with an option to make the move permanent,<\/b>\u201d Fulham announced.<\/p>\n

Chukwueze, 25, joins fellow Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi<\/b> and Calvin Bassey<\/b> at Craven Cottage. Described as a powerful, rapid winger<\/b> who thrives in one-on-one situations, he is a left-footed player who primarily operates from the right but is equally comfortable on either flank.<\/p>\n

Career Journey<\/b><\/p>\n

The Nigerian forward began his career at Diamond Football Academy<\/b> before moving to Villarreal in 2017. He made his senior debut in 2018 against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League and quickly established himself, scoring his first professional goal the following month.<\/p>\n

During his time in Spain, Chukwueze became a key figure at Villarreal, helping the club win the UEFA Europa League in 2021<\/b> and reach the Champions League semi-finals in 2022<\/b>. He recorded 37 goals and 29 assists in 207 appearances<\/b> for the Yellow Submarine.<\/p>\n

In 2023, AC Milan secured his services for a reported \u20ac28m<\/b>, where he contributed significantly, including a memorable winning goal against Newcastle United in the Champions League. He also featured in the 2024 Coppa Italia Final<\/b>, coming off the bench in Milan\u2019s 1-0 defeat to Bologna.<\/p>\n

Across two seasons with the Rossoneri, Chukwueze played 70 matches<\/b>, averaging a goal or assist in almost every other game.<\/p>\n

International Career<\/b><\/p>\n

Chukwueze made his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in 2018<\/b> at the age of 19 and has since earned 46 caps, scoring 7 goals<\/b>.<\/p>\n
