Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Antoine Semenyo\u2019s fine run of form in the Premier League continued in style as he inspired Bournemouth to a 2-1 victory over Brighton.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian forward was at the heart of everything positive for the Cherries, opening the game with a smart assist. In the 31st minute, he showed great awareness to slip the ball into the path of Alex Scott, who coolly finished to hand Bournemouth a 1-0 lead going into halftime.<\/p>\n

Brighton, however, came out stronger after the break and leveled the score almost immediately in the 48th minute. The equaliser threatened to swing momentum in their favour, but Semenyo refused to let the game slip away.<\/p>\n

His relentless pressing and direct runs kept Brighton on the back foot, and in the 62nd minute, his side were rewarded when they won a penalty. Stepping up to take responsibility, Semenyo made no mistake from the spot, dispatching a confident strike to restore Bournemouth\u2019s lead.<\/p>\n

That goal proved decisive, as Andoni Iraola\u2019s men held firm to secure all three points.
