Results and performances over the course of the second half of last season and the start of this season have not matched expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Potter, speaking via the League Managers Association, expressed his disappointment:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am incredibly disappointed to be leaving West Ham, particularly without being able to achieve what we set out to achieve at the start of our journey in east London.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d I do, however, fully acknowledge that the results have just not been good enough up to now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The club has moved swiftly to appoint former Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who has signed a three-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 51-year-old Portuguese coach, dismissed by Forest earlier this month despite guiding them to a seventh-place finish last season\u2014their best since 1994\/95\u2014will take charge of his first game on Monday away at Everton.<\/p>\n<p>West Ham fans will now hope Nuno can spark a turnaround as the club looks to climb the Premier League table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Lesotho<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Lesotho.
