According to The Sun, one of his pets\u2014an XL Bully\u2014allegedly injured a man named Luke Rehbin, while his American Bulldog reportedly attempted to attack him. The Algerian international, who has since joined Neom SC in Saudi Arabia, was absent from his scheduled appearance at Willesden Magistrates\u2019 Court.<\/p>\n

Benrahma\u2019s lawyers, contesting the charges, requested a postponement, citing a lack of complete evidence and the need to coordinate with a Monaco-based colleague to reach their client.<\/p>\n

The magistrate agreed to defer proceedings, keeping the case under criminal jurisdiction. The player is expected to appear later this month, either in person or via video link. If found guilty, Benrahma risks a fine, imprisonment, a lifetime ban on owning dogs, or even the euthanasia of his pets.<\/p>\n
