Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Graham Potter has found his way back to the sidelines. A month after being dismissed by West Ham, the 50-year-old Englishman has been officially appointed as Sweden\u2019s new head coach, succeeding Jon Dahl Tomasson.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Swedish Football Federation confirmed the news early Monday morning, entrusting Potter with the mission of reviving a team that finished last in its Euro qualifying group.<\/p>\n

According to the federation\u2019s statement, Potter\u2019s contract runs through the current World Cup qualifying campaign, including matches against Switzerland and Slovenia in November. Should Sweden secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup, the deal will automatically extend until the tournament\u2019s conclusion.<\/p>\n

Known for his tactical flexibility and calm leadership, Potter now faces the challenge of reigniting Swedish football\u2019s competitive spirit on the road to North America.<\/p>\n
