Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Chief Ranthomeng Matete of Morija has on Saturday called for conservation of the heritage of Morija.<\/p>\n

Speaking during celebration of Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa (LECSA) 10th anniversary of the annual Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace, he stated that as the headquarters of LECSA and where the first missionaries invited by King Moshoeshoe I settled, Morija holds history which should be valued.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that it is an honour for the community of Morija and its leadership that the church continues to respect and value the area. He said the image of the area should be jelously guarded.<\/p>\n

As festivities continue with the final event scheduled for tomorrow, Deputy Head of Synod Reverent Sydney Nts\u2019asa has in his core message encouraged promotion of quality service delivery.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace<\/p>\n

attracted 439 participants from several presbyteries such as Thaba-Bosiu, Tsoelike, Gauteng and Mants\u2019onyane to mention a few.<\/p>\n

Initiated in 2015, the Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace which starts at Modderpoort in South Africa Free State and ends at Morija provides a platform for prayer, spiritual connection and advocacy for peace and justice.<\/p>\n
