Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>It was a dramatic and chaotic ending in Algiers on Sunday as Ghanaian referee Charles Bulu had to be escorted off the pitch by stewards and security personnel following the CAF Champions League second leg encounter between MC Alger and Colombe Sportive du Dja.<\/p>\n

The match, played at the Stade du 5 Juillet, ended goalless \u2014 a result that saw MC Alger progress to the group stage on the away goals rule after drawing 1-1 in the first leg in Cameroon.<\/p>\n

However, the final whistle sparked tense scenes as Colombe players and officials surrounded the referee in protest, claiming several key decisions had gone against them. The situation quickly escalated, forcing security to intervene to prevent matters from getting out of hand.<\/p>\n
