Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The High Court through Chief Justice Sakoane Sakoane has on Monday continued to hear evidence from the defence in a case in which two army members are charged with the murder of Lisebo Tang which occurred in 2014 near the home of Retired Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli.<\/p>\n

Staff Sergeant Mokoena Mokoena who is a member of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) attached to the Special Forces Unit, told the Court that on May 09, 2014, at 12:00 midnight, while he was on standby at Makoanyane Barracks, he heard gun reports coming from the direction of the then Army Commander Kamoli. He stated that after the gun reports stopped, he received a call from one of the accused Lance Corporal Tjekane Sebolai who was on duty at the home of Kamoli. He said the accused informed him that there had been a shooting at that place and asked for reinforcement.<\/p>\n

He testified that he informed Duty Commander for that day Lieutenant Moletsane afterwhich the two of them and others left for the crime scene. He indicated that as they approached the scene, they met a vehicle belonging to Kamoli. He added that the occupants of the vehicle told them that they were rushing casualties to hospital. He pointed out that one of the occupants of the vehicle was Sebolai\u2019s co-accused Private Selone Rats\u00edu<\/p>\n
