Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The National Covid-19 Centers for Disease Control (NACOSEC) has developed a plan that will help during the Easter holidays with the aim of speeding up testing compared to the previous Christmas holiday season. it takes a long time for people to get results when they do experiments.<\/p>\n

NACOSEC (International Standards Coordinator) International Coordinator Mr Khotso Mahamo explained that health workers are undergoing training where they are being empowered with antigen testing skills to assist the community in find the result in clinics. He said this was done to avoid the problem of Basotho who ended up crossing the river because they had not yet received their results.<\/p>\n

He also pointed out that NACOSEC has developed a plan in which they want to work with the grassroots community and at the national level they will work with local government councils through local government elected officials, Chiefs and community health workers who will report people with Covid-19.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that airtime would be readily available at Covid-19 districts (DISCOSEC) so that it would not take long for the money to be available as it had to appear in NACOSEC.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also faced with the problem of not providing accurate statistics because some provide incorrect information, incorrect names, locations and incorrect phone numbers that result in hard to find.
