Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong> <\/span>The Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in Rome has facilitated a familiarisation tour by Globe Trotters SA Ltd, a tourism marketing company targeting European and United States markets, as part of efforts to enhance Lesotho\u2019s international tourism visibility.<\/p>\n

The delegation, led by Lesotho\u2019s Ambassador to Italy, Mr. Lebeko Sello, arrived in the country on December,01, for a 12-day working visit.<\/p>\n

During their stay, the delegation paid courtesy calls on the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Tourism to discuss opportunities for promoting Lesotho as a prime travel destination.<\/p>\n

This initiative comes at an opportune time following the Lesotho\u2013European Union visa waiver, which is expected to boost tourist arrivals by easing travel access for European visitors.<\/p>\n

As part of the tour, Globe Trotters SA Ltd will produce a documentary highlighting Lesotho\u2019s rich culture, breath-taking landscapes, and adventure tourism offerings, aimed at attracting tourists from Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n

The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to positioning tourism as a key driver of economic growth, job creation and international partnerships, while showcasing Lesotho\u2019s unique identity to global audiences.<\/p>\n
